Duh.
I am a pro life anti government, anti-war, anti death penality, methodist girl.I love reading and educating myself about current events. I strongly support giving still born babies birth certificates (born still but still born!). I don't push my views on people and I don't expect people to agree with me or even like some of my beliefs. I expect respect though because I will always respect you, no matter what you believe in!
Hello boys and girls! It seems you have found my lifejournal. Let me say
and warn you that this journal is filled with my personal thoughts and beliefs. I don't write to please other people or impress them. Don't expect much out of your upcoming reading experience, you will be disappointed! I'll even introduce myself a little to help you make a more educated choice in if you would like to continue reading on or not. Enjoy.<3
General About Me:
My name is Skye. I'm 20 years old. Oh and if you can't tell!
I've lived in Fort Myers, Florida for 6 years now. Before I moved to Florida I lived in Poughkeepsie, New York. I moved down here to Fl with my parents and I actually really like it here now! I graduated high school in 2006,and then attended Edison college(I dropped out). The most intresting thing about me is I'm a first time expectant mom, whom is on hospital bedrest due to incompentatnt cervix and preterm labor. I love almost every type of music and spend a lot of time listening to music. My favorite band is Coheed & Cambria. I have their band logo tattoo'd on my upper back. I also love tattoos! I think they look amazing on everyone and though I don't think they are an "orginal" concept, I do think they take a special person to have one. I'm also a fan of tattoos with meanings. I also enjoy reading other peoples livejournals. I think its really intresting to read what other people are going through, especially people I am not connected too in any way. I'm a voyur I guess.
My love life:
I've had the same boyfriend(Corey)for over 3 years now. I've never been so in love
. We moved into our own place over a year ago. I've never felt so loved and accepted by one person before in my life. He is one of the best people I have ever met. He's just a really great guy who has his shit together and he has a lot to offer the people around him.
Elijah Maddison:
Corey and I found out we were expecting our first baby on May 17th, thanks to about a million clear blue digital pregnancy tests. We were both really taken by surprise. Mr. Elijah is the best gift we could ever ask for as a couple, and we're truly blessed that he has entered our lives. His due date is 2/11/2008, but due to an incompentant cervix and other pregnancy complications he could come any day he pleases. Corey and I are both madly in love with the same little boy. He's more then I ever dreamed of. I could go on and on about Elijah and how lucky we are, but I think everyone gets it!
Friends:
I have some of the worlds greatest friends. I really love some of them
. Others of them I could live with or without. I used to be very picky and judgmental of who I would hang out with and jumped to conclusions about people before I even got to know them. This type of thinking made me a really depressing person, once I grew out of that stage of life I really became a happy person. I'll befriend anyone who has similar intrests and can string decent sentences together. I am in an odd stage in my life and I really only want "real" people around me at this point. If your an asshole, don't bother adding me. Thanks.
My Beliefs:
Don't forget to support March Of Dimes!
All babies should be given their 9 months, but somtimes it's not medically possible. MOD is always searching for the medical technology to make every babies viable age 20 weeks, not just a rare few. The mothers of the NICU are the strongest women in the world and their babies deserve the best care and the best chance at a full healthy life.
